Mary MacKillop and her relationship with Julian Tenison Woods and Robert and Joanna Barr Smith showed classic marks of friendship. We are invited through the writing of the late Margaret Press rsj RIP to consider "How important is friendship in our lives?"

In Tasmania ten women recently made history by becoming the First Josephite Associates of ‘St Joseph’s Island’. In South Australia, Associates gathered at the Josephite cemetery at Mitcham to honour a legacy of faithfulness.

The Sisters of St Joseph are active in ACRATH, Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans. To mark  International Women's Day, ACRATH has launched Australia's first multi-language anti-trafficking Radio Awareness Project called "The RAP".

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day “A promise is a promise: Time for action to end violence against women” seeks to strengthen the international community’s commitment to put an end to violence against women. From the time of Mary MacKillop, the Sisters of St Joseph have always responded to the particular needs of women and families as we strive to "relieve suffering and bring hope".

Ethica Accessories, Carmen Almenara and Rosanna Spiers (recent guests on the SBS Food Safari featuring Peruvian cuisine) invite you to experience a taste of Peru’s traditional food and hospitality in the beautiful surroundings of a private home. Funds raised will enable us to continue our work with women and projects in Peru.

The Conference, Mission: One Heart, Many Voices, to be held in Sydney from the 28th April to 1st May, offers us the opportunity to hear Fr Stephen Bevans SVD, Sr Maureen McBride RNDM, Dr Gemma Tulud Cruz, Archbishop Mark Coleridge, Ms Kath Evans, and others, present their insights into God's mission and our participation in it.
