The Josephite Action Group meets for the first time in 2025!
February marked the first catch up of the Josephite Action Group (JAG), an opportunity to welcome fresh faces to the group, and catch up with existing members.
We gathered in Croydon (New South Wales), excited to spend the afternoon socialising and planning action for 2025. The group began with some team building games, fun that challenged our communication skills and creativity. We then went onto reflective activities thinking about all that has happened in the first two months of this year (can’t believe we’re already now three months into 2025!), and we discussed our hopes for the remainder of the year.
As volunteers and young Josephites, we are called to action. JAG is a place for young people to express their concerns for social justice and do something about it through volunteering and civic action. At the JAG catch up, we bounced new ideas for action this year and we’re excited to embark on new adventures.
Finally, we finished our day with a fun and faced paced Tik Tok workshop. Check out our creative efforts on our Instagram page @josephiteactiongroup!
