The invitation of this retreat is to ponder, through the writing of Daniel O’Leary and others, the intimate interplay of relationship between the universe, our own hearts and God.
This retreat will invite us into our own interior castle using the works of Teresa of Avila and Carolyn Myss. The scripture teaches us we are immersed in a field of grace which exists within our experience and beyond consciousness. We exist “Deep in Christ”.
You’re invited to attend a gathering which consists of: a session on ‘René Girard’s insights into desire, rivalry and resentment in the fashion industry’ and a movie viewing of ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’
The afternoon will begin with an introduction to Girard’s thought, followed by the film and a Q&A session. No previous knowledge of Girard’s thought required.
